Another certification program that is available is known as CTP, which stands for Convergence Technologies Professional.  This specific certification will focus on how to maintain telecommunications through several different spaces.  The first thing that will be taught is how to implement things such as data, Internet voice and wireless technology.  This course will also teach one how to install and sell the various types of telecommunications information that is available.  CTP offers those who are interested the basic knowledge of technology then expands their skills through the use of telecommunications over the Internet and other places.

The third type of IT Certification available for telecommunications is known as telecommunications technologies.  This is usually centered on those who are already familiar with some of the information technology systems that are offered.  It will begin the course with focusing on the types of electricity that are used to help technicians to set up a telecommunications facility. 

From here, it will move into various telecommunication systems.  This includes understanding basic and advanced digital telecommunications as well as understanding the uses for wireless technology for communication with others.  This may include things that are related to voice over, as well as knowing how to implement audio and video technology to your business.
