CorelDraw is the second type of software that can be used.  This is mostly used to create different types of publications.  You will be able to add images as well as your own technical drawings through this program.  Macromedia is the third area that you can focus on.  This is used often by graphic arts who are working to design images for technical representation as well as for Web sites.  You can also learn how to manipulate already made images through the Macromedia tools.
